CASE STUDY

Servers Architecture Actualization for SMS Service Provider

Main Goal

The team aimed to reconstruct and update the servers’ architecture while planning optimal solutions, supervising installation, configuring systems, and migrating virtual machines with post-implementation support.

The Course of the Project

  • Firmware Updates: Upgrading and configuring server firmware to current standards
  • Virtualisation Setup: Installing and configuring the latest stable virtualisation system version
  • Network Reconfiguration: Updating existing network infrastructure for improved performance
  • Virtual Machine Migration: Transferring VMs to the new environment
  • Storage Configuration: Installing, updating, and configuring storage arrays
  • High Availability: Establishing redundancy and fault tolerance mechanisms

Effect

The infrastructure upgrade significantly boosted system performance while ensuring redundancy. By expanding uplink capacity to 40 Gbit/s in the network backbone, leveraging Dell switches, the team enhanced service availability and reliability.
